A dental crown is a custom made cap made to fit over a tooth weakened by decay, cracked or have undergone root canal treatment. This restores its shape, strength and appearance.
A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring themselves to crowns attached on the teeth either side of a gap (abutment teeth). Floating fake teeth will be attached to the crowns, replacing the gaps.
Our Processes
Crown
We will prepare the tooth by removing any decay and shaving down to fit the crown.
We will take a scan of the area and send it to the lab to create a custom crown
In the meantime, we will place a temporary filling to protect the tooth.
Once ready, the permanent crown is cemented onto the tooth, covering it completely.
Bridges
We will prepare the abutment teeth by shaping them to fit crowns.
We will take a scan and send them to the lab where they will create the bridge.
While bridge is being made, we will place a temporary bridge to protect your teeth and gums
Once ready, we will cement the bridge onto the abutment teeth, filling in the gap and restoring your smile.
